Yesterday was the day for Cole's 5th birthday party! The kids were all so excited to see each other in the morning! They all ran out to play first thing!
Jess' brother, Jake, made an awesome sign for the party!
And Jess made a super cool "5" too!
The decorations were super cute! Jess worked really hard.
Jess wanted to have pictures up from all five years of Cole, so Ryan's brother, Kyle, put them all up at 1am! It turned out so cute!
Jess made swords out of paint sticks and the kids had a blast playing with them.
As always, the jumpie was a HUGE hit!
Cole got to wear his "5" shirt.
We took a little break while we waited for the other kids to arrive.
Then the party got started!
Cole was happy to open his presents!
Jake made Cole and Braden some awesome pictures for their bedroom!
"It's my party and I'll dig if I want to!"
The look on Cole's face was worth every minute I spent making him a soft plushy blanket!
Jess' sister, Karli, has been taking cake decorating classes, and made Cole an awesome cake!
Before we had cake, we had the kids burn off some energy.
It was also pinata time!!
This boy's got quite a swing!
I think Joli is over the height limit for hitting a little kid's pinata!
Cole got the last whack!
Then it was time for cake!!
Archie had a nice time eating cake with the big kids.
Then I got in the jumpie with Braden and Markus.
As usual, there was a costume change.
And another...
The kids opened up a few of Cole's new toys too!
Jess' niece, Victoria, is such a sweetheart.
Her nephew, Levi, just wanted to be one of the big boys!
Markus didn't quite understand.
Then there was another costume change.
And another.
And another.
Angie just wanted to hold the babies, but poor Levi was so tired he just wanted his mommy.
At the end of the day Cole and Ryan sat down for some wonderful father/son bonding time over Legos.
It was a wonderful birthday party!
