Today was the first time Joli hasn't been in school when we've had a mommy meet up at the zoo, and since we've been gone so long. I thought it would be great to go. We were pleased to find out that we would be riding the skyfari!
Yesterday I bought the kids new lunch boxes since Joli will be taking a lunch this year and someone took Markus' awhile back. I packed us a little snack in it, and Markus loved it so much, he wanted to hold it!
After we saw a few animals, we sat down to learn some things from one of the zoologists.
Joli was very interested in what she was saying.
After our tour was over I decided we would head towards the exit since Markus had fallen and wasn't in a very good mood. But then they both decided that we should check out the reptiles on the way out. (No snakes). I just love turtles.
These little frogs are poisonous, but so darn cute!
As always, we had to stop and say hello to the giant tortoises.
Joli wanted to see some crocodiles, so we walked through until we found them.
On our way out, we spotted some lizards.
Then we finally made it to the exit!
