Kids

Yesterday I took the kids over to Shane and Abby's while I had a doctor's appointment. When I came back Markus was happily bouncing in the jumpy!

I had made a quick stop at Goodwill on my way to pick up the kids, and was happy to find these umbrellas for the kids that match the one I have for the faerie festival!

Today we had a very busy day of running errands, the last of which was to pick up a new screen door at Home Depot. Not only did I go pick it up and bring it home with both kids, but I installed it myself! Yay me!

Joli and I had a little jam session before dinner. It was awesome!

We met Chris and Kacie and their family at the park for dinner. Joli is really getting good at the monkey bars.

Markus loves open crawling/ball playing space!

Charlotte was excited to see us!

We played with bubbles too.

There wasn't an open swing for Markus so Charlotte shared hers!

Then some left and the both had a swing.

Markus kept clapping for "yay"! So cute!

I bought these vegetable fruit pouches today, and of course Markus can suck the stuff right out of them, but he still won't suck on a straw!

The animals have been enjoying the new screen door!

Tea, Flowers, and a Superhero!

I love Joli's new favorite dress up clothes!!

Today I needed to work on the backyard, so the kids came outside with me and had an ice tea party.

Markus didn't get any tea in his cup because, well, he just dumps it, but he had fun playing anyway.

I cleaned out the sandbox so Markus could play.

Joli loves the new table and chairs I got her.

While Markus napping, Joli and I set up the green house she got from Grandma Lori and Papa Paul! We set it up in the window of the playhouse so it would get plenty of sun, but not too much!

The playhouse just keeps getting cuter!

Is it Summer?

It was the most beautiful day today. Perfect for taking the kids to the beach!

Chris' parents are in town for the week, and Joli thought it was great to have another person to go down to the water with her!

We haven't seen Abby and the kids for about two weeks, and not only did Joli miss the kids, but I'm pretty sure she missed Abby too!

Nadia is not a fan of the beach.

Chris and Shane were able to join us today too! Charlotte had a good time finding shells with her daddy.

Markus thought he needed to help too.

Anytime a daddy digs a hole, children should jump in!

Markus was a great helper.

The kids did such a great job sharing today!

Abby's mom sent a beautiful kite for Syrus that basically didn't fly. So Shane ran into town to get another one. Not only did he come back with a Spiderman one for Syrus, but he totally made Joli's day and brought her a princess one!

Syrus and Joli had such a great time flying their kites!

Shane also bought a dragon kite, just so we could see one dragon kite fly!

Eventually Markus curled up in my lap and fell asleep. He was so tired that when I laid him down in the wagon, he didn't even move!

We ended up at the beach for over six hours and Joli still complained all the way home that we had to leave!! Such a gorgeous day!
