Swimming and Playing Outside!

Since I had my camera today, and Markus and I weren't in the pool, I made sure to take lots of pictures of Joli! She's doing so great at swim lessons!

Markus was easily distracted with an apple!

Joli just about has diving down without a belly flop!

After swim lessons we headed to Kacie's to hang out with Charlotte for a little bit. Joli was so excited that I said she could paint!
Markus was mesmerized by the shadows the tree was making.
As usual, the sand box was a hit!

Markus decided to taste the sand.
Yuck!

Joli looked so cute playing near the roses.

Markus was sick of playing in the sand, so I showed him the car.

After awhile he figured out how to get in it.

I convinced Joli that she would be an excellent big sister if she pushed Markus in the car.
Then she got bored and Markus screamed!
He was not very happy when someone wasn't pushing him.
I tried to get him to play with something else. He was upset that he wasn't in the car and even more upset that Joli was in the wagon with him.
So we tried the bike. Still no.
I was so proud to see that Joli can finally pedal!! Guess it's about time for a big girl bike!
Kacie came back with the play set she went to buy. After testing both of our physical strength getting it out of the car and then putting it together, Kacie decided to test it out.
Abby and Kacie brought their kids over for dinner and we played in the backyard a little beforehand. Markus discovered Brody's ball, and while he was THRILLED about it, Brody was not quite as excited.

Markus just loves playing with the big kids.
Joli went inside to get some shoes, and came out in quite an outfit.
Joli and Syrus were showing each other how well they could balance.
Charlotte loves to play with Markus. It kind of make him nervous sometimes.
Charlotte is learning that there are other ways to deal with frustration besides hitting. It is a hard lesson for anyone to learn.
We're so proud of Charlotte. After two months of coming over to play, she will finally get on the trampoline without help!!

Once it started getting chilly we decided to go inside and finish up dinner. Charlotte was climbing on the step stool and lost her footing, landing face first on the corner of the stool. Poor little girl! Her eye was pretty purple by the time they headed home.
