Just Lunch

When I put this onesie on Markus last night, I couldn't help but think of Joli. One of my favorite pictures of her was taken shortly after we moved into this house. She was eighteen months old, and she was wearing this onesie and hot pink rain boots! Sweet memories. I can't believe how big she has gotten!

I got the box of eater animals out of downstairs. Markus and Joli were so excited!!

Before William headed home, he wanted to have a champion burrito. So we headed to Coronado! The kids loved their taquitos!

Markus just loves having a man around to hang out with. I think he's sick of all the females in his life!

We took one more trip down to the beach.

It was really windy and cold!

William went to visit a friend, so I took the kids to the park. It's so fun now that Markus can play on the playground!

He loves the slide!

But his favorite is oh so definitely the swing!

Since the swings weren't all that close to the big kid playground, we went back in that direction to keep a better eye on Joli. Markus decided to try some rock climbing.

The last time that we were on this playground was a few days before Joe left. At the time, Joli couldn't make it across these ropes without Joe practically carrying her. Now she just walks right across!

Laume came back from dropping William off, and it was nice to have someone there to take pictures of Markus sliding.

Joli decided to come play with us (finally), and Markus wanted to chase her all over! He finally made it to the top of slide so we could all slide together!

We came down pretty fast.

Then we walked around Coronado for a little while and then finally to the truffle shop!! Mmmmm! Joli got a pony truffle.

After coming home and having dinner and the bath, the kids played a little while. Markus just loves climbing into the dog bed with the animals.
