Beach Babes

Today was a beautiful day in San Diego, so Joli and I decided to enjoy it. We headed to the beach with all our gear, in anticipation of a lovely afternoon. Unfortunately it was incredibly windy, and every time I put something down it ended up covered in sand.

But we put up our big umbrella to block the wind and lounged anyway.

Now that Joli can sit up, she had her first opportunity to sit in the surf.

Though she didn't actually get wet, she did enjoy sampling the cuisine.

As time went on it started to get a little chilly, and I was tired of tasting sand. So Joli enjoyed the soft sand while I got our stuff together.

Then we hit the road.
