For Valentine's day, Kacie, Abby, Jess, and I thought it'd be fun to get all the kids together at our house for a little Valentine's party. I made cupcakes for the kids to decorate and then decorated the one's that were extra.
As usual I planned ahead and ran out of things to clean, so I made some little decorations.
Jess hung out with the babies while I vacuumed the floor.
Kacie and Charlotte arrived and Charlotte was a little whiny at first. In fact, Joli, Markus and Lilly were the only one's that didn't have some kind of a tantrum before dinner!
Charlotte's mostly consisted of hanging on her mama.
Cole hung on his mama until she made him go lay back down.
Markus took a pretty good little nap this afternoon and was happy as can be while everyone was here! The only time he cried is when someone else was crying, just because he doesn't like it when other people are upset.

Once Joli came out of her room, Charlotte was happy to play with her.
When Abby arrived, Joli quickly talked everyone into going into the backyard.
We had a great time hanging out and watching the kids jump!

Now that Markus is old enough to not be attached to me at all times, Charlotte is my best friend again!
Markus loves when I put him in the grass. He just can't figure out that crazy stuff!

I asked Markus if I could have a kiss, it was a little slobbery.
Best Christmas present ever!
When we got inside, Joli got right into one of her princess dresses and Syrus put on his dragon costume. So fun that they can play dress up together now!
After dinner the kids gave each other the valentine's they all made for each other. They loved it! Joli even wrote every one's names on theirs!
Markus couldn't figure out how he was supposed to eat the valentine he got from his sister.
Then it was time for them to frost and decorate their cupcakes! They were all so excited!

Joli did such a great job with hers.
Markus is pretty sure that cupcakes rank right up there with spaghetti!
All the kids did such a good job!

Braden is pretty sure that he is older than he actually is. He just wants to do what the big kids are doing!
Abby brought over some heart shape jello, and once again Markus loved it! It was rather fun watching him try to pick it up.

After dessert the kids played together for quite some time. We were very surprised that there weren't that many fights and every one got along! For some reason the boys were all crowded around the doll house.
At the end of the evening Abby eventually had to carry Syrus out. He and Joli were getting along so wonderfully! They were just laying on Joli's bed watching Shrek the Third and talking about what they like about it!
Besides a few stressful moments the evening was actually pretty amazing. We had such a great time with all our friends and are so very glad to have everyone here!!
