Tea, Trains, and the Twist

Today we pulled Joli out of school early so that we could take her to tea! She was very happy!

We got to dress up too!

Joli was all about being proper!

We had some delicious food with our tea.

My dad was quite a trooper and even enjoyed being proper (and goofy).
After tea we went to pick up Markus from preschool before heading over to Joli's theatre class.
While Joli was in her class, we took Markus down to the model railroad museum.

We had a little time after the museum closed and before we had to get Joli, so we walked around a little bit.

Then we thought we should drive over to Corvette diner for some dinner! It was loud, but everyone had a great time! The kids just loved it!!

There was a man making balloon bow and arrows and the kids were thrilled!

Then our delicious food came. It was so yummy!

After we ate a bit, the kids went over and danced in front of the DJ booth.
They also had a little sword fight.

It was a very nice day, and Markus was actually in a pretty good mood most of the day!

Wouldn't it have been an "arrow fight"?
