The Fifth Day of Christmas

On the fifth day of Christmas we passed out food and water to the homeless. The kids always enjoy doing this, and I try so hard to teach them that giving is so much more fulfilling than anything they will ever receive. Joli carried the water.

 While we were walking, we noticed a sea lion enjoying a fish, and some seagulls trying to take it from him!

 The kids did such a great job, and were so happy to do it!

 The kids wanted to see the statue, so we stopped for a visit.

 There were some animals on our journey as well!

 The Midway looked particularly beautiful this afternoon.

We didn't end up giving out all our stuff, but we plan to go out again. It's so nice to see the kids thinking of others!
