The Seventeenth Day of Christmas

Markus woke up not feeling very well last night, so he got to stay home from school today, and Joe and I took turns doing the things we had planned on doing while he was gone. He woke up this morning feeling perfectly fine, which meant that he was at full energy, and we had to do our best to keep him rested and hope that he had just ate something that didn't agree with him. I spent some time playing Potato Head with him. He was very excited to make a Santa.

Then he made a baby Santa.
Before long I had to go get Joli, and Joe and Markus played Let's Go Fishing.
Once we got Joli, it was time to make cookies for Markus' school Christmas program.

Which we figured out was the wrong kind of dough, and we ended up rolling into balls instead.
 At least they tasted good.
After some dinner, we headed down to the school and got Markus ready to sing!
The church was very beautiful with all its decorations.
Then the kids started coming down the aisles!

Markus did a pretty good job with the first song.
Then they did a song with bells and he was upset that he didn't get blue bells. So he just pouted instead.

At the end all the classes came together, and he was very enthusiastic!

He did such a great job! I'm one proud Mama!
