The Blessing Ring

A burst of strength brings a life,
All that matters has become real.
A mother emerges on this night,
A happiness she cannot conceal.
~
All that matters has become real,
Love surrounds the breaking morn.
A happiness she cannot conceal,
She smiles at the moment her love was born.
~
Love surrounds the breaking morn,
A sweet voice greets opening eyes.
She smiles at the moment her love was born,
The passing time takes her by surprise.
~
A sweet voice greets opening eyes,
She must get up, today's the day.
The passing time takes her by surprise,
Her daughter's waiting, no time to delay.
~
She must get up, today's the day,
Adrenaline guides her and she's there.
Her daughter's waiting, no time to delay,
Comfort is found in loving care.
~
Adrenaline guides her and she's there,
A mother emerges on this night.
Comfort is found in loving care,
A burst of strength brings a life.

Awwwwwwww - that's so sweet! Sniff! And I've never seen that style of poem before - did you learn that in school at some point or did you make it up? How clever!
Rhyming poetry usually ends up being a bit to trite and forced in my mind, but your poem flows beautifully.
