Last week Joli was sad that Joe couldn't come with her to swim lessons, so instead we all went to the pool yesterday. Joli was thrilled!!
Since what she really wanted was to swim with Joe, we brought her life jacket and she got ready to jump in the big pool.
She doesn't really like her life jacket too much because it's made to put her on her back, but she tolerates it as it keeps her from sinking.
Eventually Joe and I both started floating on our backs and then she thought it was pretty cool. There aren't really any pictures of all of us because I jumped in after this and we had a wonderful time playing in the pool together.
One of the sprinklers in the front yard is broken so Joe is trying to keep the grass from dying by watering it himself. It's also fun to play in it.
Brody thought the sprinkler was amazing.
He just couldn't quite figure out how to catch the water.
Might as well just run through it!
Joli had a dentist appointment this morning and she was actually really excited! She didn't know it was going to be the first time they took x-rays.
She loved watching the dental assistant get everything all ready.
She wasn't buying the whole "cool goggles" idea.
The actual cleaning went amazingly well. Joli didn't like the taste so they kept having to stop at first.
But eventually she got used to and held incredibly still for a two-year-old. I also bribed her a little by letting her wear "mommy's glasses".
Once they were done she was all smiles. She can't wait to show daddy how pretty her teeth are.
Usually they have balloons but today they only had stickers. Joli was a little bummed but happy nonetheless.
Off to find my puppy.
