After we were all ready to go, we drove over to see Subway Cave, which is a lava tube near my in-laws. It was pretty crazy.
Once we got down there it was hard to get a good picture. The temperature had dropped about 40 degrees as well!
This was the otherside of the cave. It wasn't very long but when you're in it, if you don't have a flashlight you can't even see in front of your face.
Here are Victoria, Laume, and Papa. They took their time walking through but I was cold so my goal was to get to the other side!
Joli enjoyed checking out the rocks and the little cave with her daddy.
Luckily we were able to bring Brody in with us but he was pretty hot once we got back to the car. So Joe let him play in the faucet for a few minutes. I wish I could have!
On the drive through Lassen Park we stopped to check out the snow that was still up there. It was so cool!
Joli wanted some snow really bad but when I gave it to her she started crying and saying it was too cold.
We were planning on taking a hike to see Bumpass Hell, which is a sulphur spot in the park, but no dogs were allowed on the trail so we ended up headed down to Sam's. Joli wanted her picture taken first though.
Once we got to Sam's, Brody and Jax were thrilled to have another puppy to play with.
Joli was as entertained as the rest of us watching them run and chase and wrestle together.
Eventually they got a little rough and had to take time-outs. This was decided when Jax was bleeding above his eye and Brody's lip was bleeding.
Now we're trying to teach them to play together nice but they just can't seem to stay away from each other. Every time Brody lays down, Jax thinks it's the perfect time to start biting his tail or jump on him.

Yes... Baylie will be wearing a muzzle when her and Brody meet. I have a feeling there would be more than a bloody lip! Nice pictures! Looks like you are having fun!
