Go Chargers!!

Most of our day was spent relaxing around the house. We were pretty much resting up for the Charger game tonight! We stayed in bed quite late, but at least I had Joli dressed.
I played with my camera off and on through out the day. Brody decided to produce THE puppy dog face.
One productive thing I did was to organize the Jack-and-Jill closet between Joli's room and the office. That was when I found the game cube. Joe was all excited to hook it up and then remembered we didn't have the right hook-ups, but Joli was perfectly happy looking at the games and the manuals most of the afternoon.
Last week I purchased two blue shirts in hopes of having some Chargers spirit but also buying some thing I would wear again. This is what I came up with.
This was what the freeway looked like for about 45 minutes until we got off on our exit.
I entertained us with some singing and dancing.
And Joe found several creative things for Joli to play with.
We were entertained for quite awhile when a car came by and some keys flew out of it. Then I woman in some very high heels came walking down the middle of the freeway asking for them. Apparently her boyfriend had thrown them at her and they went out the window!! Finally we made it to the stadium and parked. We were a little worried about getting Joli in because we were told that if she was over 36 inches she would need a ticket, but she was just a hair over and I didn't want to pay for an extra ticket. So I worked a little mommy magic to make her look more babyish.

Our seats were amazing for how much our tickets were. We were so close!
It took a little bit for Joli to figure out that it was all about how much noise you could make. At first she kept saying "It's so loud!".
One of the most entertaining parts were the cheerleaders. We like watching them and they always got Joli's attention when they danced.
Eventually she started trying to copy them while they were throwing their arms and booties around.
After half-time the people next to us left and Joli had some room to move her buns and yell a bit.
The best part was every time the Chargers scored a cannon would go off and then fireworks. Joli liked this so it was easy to get her to chant "Go Chargers, go Chargers!!".
Since we knew the traffic would be worse after the game and the Chargers were a fair amount of points ahead, we decided to leave just before the end of the third quarter. There were no worries on the way out so Joe just carried Joli. She had a great time running and skipping on Joe's shoulders.

We had such a fun time and only spent about $80 including parking and food! Yay us!!
