Today we took Jess and Cole to Balboa Park. We were thoroughly entertain by Joli's pronunciation of the word Balboa! Here she is showing off in front of the fountain.
While walking through the park we decided to have lunch overlooking the park. It was beautiful and delicious! One of the advantages to eating outside is enjoying all the natural elements. Joli loved the "wizard".
Hard as I tried, Joli was too distracted by the pretty water to look at the camera.
We were all very impressed by this beautiful tall building! The picture doesn't even begin to capture how awe inspiring it really is.
The big hit of the day was all the water fountains. I'm pretty sure Joli stuck her hand in every single one.
Cole also enjoyed the fountain and was unsure why we wouldn't let him swim in it.
Joli was less than impressed by my persistant picture taking.
Cole thought maybe I would give in to his squeels and let him get in the fountain. Guess he hasn't figured out I'm not a sucker yet!
We're hoping for nice weather and a beach trip tomorrow but we'll see!
