This morning as Joli and I were getting ready for swim lessons she went and got her microphone and told me it was a jump rope. Then she started to jump!
After a nap we headed over to Chris an Kacie's for dinner. Joli was insisting on holding Charlotte again so Kacie put her in Joli's lap. We told Joli that she needed to put her arms around Charlotte and this is what she did...
Once Charlotte started to fuss Kacie picked her, but Joli was very persistant in the fact that she needed to hold her.
Kacie wanted to try out Charlotte's new toy on her, but she was mesmerized by Joli, and Joli was doing everything she could to help out.
It was making Joli crazy that she wasn't able to play Charlotte so we moved her over so they could lay together. Joli was whispering all kinds of secrets in Charlotte's ear and Charlotte was loving it!
After Joli's attention span ran out she went and got Charlotte a stuffed animal to play with.
Charlotte was quite a bit tired and indecisive this evening, but I did my best rock star moves to keep her calm and sleeping. Eventually she gave in to the heavy eyelids.
It was another fun evening and now we're off to get some sleep!
