The Big TV and Daddy's Truck

It's so exciting that there's finally a movie in the theaters that we can take Joli to. So yesterday afternoon we did just that. It's really hard to get pictures in the dark, but Joli loved it. She was so excited to watch a movie on "The big TV". It was only to second time she's ever been so it was hard to convince her that it wasn't the same movie. Here's Joe and Joli on our way out. Joli's been asking to go back ever since.

After the movie we came home and had some corn chowder. Joli wasn't too interested in staying at the table and eating, but she was very upset when Joe said he was going to eat her soup.
Today was an exciting day for all of us! While Joli and I were at swim lessons, Joe was at the DMV renewing his license (finally). Which means that Joe can drive again! After I picked him up we headed up to meet a lady with a nice truck and look what we brought home!!

Joe's excited because he now has a truck and I'm excited because I don't have to get up at 6:00am to drive him to work! Yahoo!!! After dinner I put Joli's carseat in the truck and Joe took us for a ride. We didn't really have a particular desination in mind, so we ended up at Jamba Juice! Mmmmmm, yummy!

It's so nice to just be together as a family. We're not running out and doing crazy exciting things all the time, but just being together is certainly enough!
