Both the kids played on the porch with some bubbles and enjoyed a last few moments together.
I tried to hug him and kiss him as much as I could between tears.
Kota loved the attention and is still the biggest lap dog ever!
I think he knew we were sad but he didn't know why.
When the lady got here Kota laid in my lap while Joe loaded his stuff in her car. Finally it was time for Kota to get in too and Joe ended up having to pick him up and put him in because he didn't want to go. We will always love him and always miss him, but we know that we will all live much happier lives, and even Kota will be living with acres to play on and dogs to run with.

Y'know, I didn't think I'd sad to read this, but I am. Also relieved because I think it will be a better situation for all of you, very much including Kota (and it made me sad for Kota when he had to be marginalized). Very nice of the daughter to come and get him, I thought you'd have to drive him back. Glad it's done so you can move on. You'll be able to call and check on how's he doing, right? But still, hugs to all of you.
Aw I'm going to miss him :[

He sleeps in my room and scratches at my door when he wants in. He's a big baby lol
