Today our friend Syrus turned two, so we headed over to the pool to celebrate with him! It was an awesome pool area with a giant 4 foot pool, a 1 foot kiddie pool and a huge hot tub! The weather was such a pleasent temperature that you could really go into any of the three. I started out in the hot tub!
Joli agreed that this was a wonderful idea, although she wouldn't take a picture!
Once the wind died down a little the other two pools were the place to be and Joli loved the pool she could stand in!
Especially once we put a bunch of toys in with her!
After being told several times to keep the toys in the kiddie pool, Joli once again threw a bunch of balls in the big pool. So natural consequences meant she had to get them out herself. Joe helped with that!
After Joli started shaking and her lips turned a little blue, she agreed it was time to take a lunch break. The food was amazing! They had delicious sandwiches, fresh fruit, and some of the best pasta salads I've ever had!
After playing in the pool just a little while longer, Joli decided she'd rather put on warm clothes and play with toys.
It was such a lovely afternoon and we're so very glad it is summer again!
