Dinner

As most weekends go there was a lot of dinners with friends. Joli wanted to be my big helper so I gave her a job that was fairly easy, scooping the potatoes out of the bowl and putting them on the tinfoil. She thought this was awesome!!

Charlotte had a bit of a fussy weekend but I was more than happy to hold her, and it turns out that she didn't mind so much either!

A nap always makes grouchy girls happier!

On Sunday we went over to Chris and Kacie's to have dinner with them and some other friends. As usual, Joli made herself right at home.
Charlotte took a quick nap in her swing and it brightened her right up!
We told the kids that they could watch a movie after dinner and they were thrilled to sit together and discuss the cars on the tv.

Of course once the desserts came out there was no longer any interest in the movie. Abby brought some delicious gourmet desserts and we sampled them all, then Joli cleaned up what was left!

Since Baylie is still in New York with her Grandma and Grandpa, we brought Brody over to hang out with us. He must have been going through a growth spurt because this is what he did most of the weekend.

Once the sugar kicked in the kids started getting goofy.

There was lots of running and screaming and hugging!

It was a fabulous time as always and we're looking forward to doing it again!
