On The Road Again

Yesterday we set out to make the final leg of trip up to Oregon. We woke up early but took a little time to play before we left.
This is the smile that I start my day with every day. Even if Joli is complaining about the list of things that she needs to complain about, this little smile makes it all better!
After several hours of driving we grabbed some lunch and went over to this park that Joli and I have stopped at a few times. It had a newer play structure and then some older things that were really cool too.

Since Markus can sit up now I thought for sure the swing would be a hit, but since he hasn't picked up on putting his hands out to avoid hitting things, the swing was actually a little surprising to him at first.

Joli spent a good twenty minutes going down the pole, running around and back up the play structure, and then going down the pole again.
The leaves were just so beautiful I had to get some good shots with the one that would hold still.

I love how his tongue is out in this picture.
Joli is very into "Faerie Houses" right now. Every time we go to the farmer's market we have to make a stop at the mushroom booth to look at the best "houses".

Joli was concerned that if she took the mushrooms then the faeries would have no place to go, so she put them in a secure location.

Once we finally made it to Aunt Peg's, Markus got his much needed bath and finally is sitting up in the tub!
