Once we got back to the house, Kacie and I got all the kids down for a nap so we could go to the store in peace. The kids were pretty tired...
When we came back they were all awake, and my little man was thrilled to be using tools and helping Chris in the yard.
Markus just loves Caroline (when she's not taking things from him). Every time he saw her, he would make this face and say "Hi baby, baby", in his best baby talk voice. It was rather entertaining.
While Kacie and I were at the store I found Markus two new super hero shirts, which he IMMEDIATELY wanted to put on! I then spent the rest of our vacation making sure at least one of them was clean enough to wear...
After we had a very yummy dinner, we left the littlest one with her Mimi (Kacie's mom, Pam), and Chris, Kacie and I took the three bigger kids to the drive in! There was a big grass area that most of the kids were playing in, so Joli convinced the other two that they should all go run and play too.
Markus and Charlotte couldn't really keep up with Joli, and eventually ended up holding hands and helping each other run. It was so sweet!
When it started to get dark we convinced the kids to come sit in the van and wait for the movie to start. They watched a little show in the iPad while they waited.
Then it was time for the movie and snacks! They had a great time!! We were all exhausted by the time we got back to Pam's!
