Yesterday, after waking up very early and driving many hours, we made it to Sam and Ashley's!! The kids had a great time playing in the pool, destroying the play room, and just seeing each other again. Today Sam and Ashley took us out on the lake! I don't think the kids have been out before, at least not since Joli was a little baby, so they were really excited!
Bailor was just so funny trying to crawl around in her life jacket.
Markus was super excited!
Joli is just getting to the point where she's realizing she's not a little kid, and can do things the other kids can't. So she sat up in the front while we drove out.
Then we went swimming!
They all got out there, and then Markus and Berkley's legs were so short and tired that I had to pull them back in, but I had been treading water for like twenty minutes already.... it was rather difficult!
After swimming, lunch, and an exciting adventure to get the tube up and running, we went tubing!
I was so impressed that Joli wanted to go on it! Of course we had a few older girls that were friends and Sam and Ashley's with us, so Joli was very eager to do what they did!
She did such a great job, and absolutely loved it! She said "It was the most exciting thing of my life!", and can't wait to go again!
Then I took the two little kids on a ride. It was interesting.
We went around a little bit, then Berkley decided she'd had enough! So Markus and I staying on a little bit.
As it got later, we were all pretty tired, and thought it would be a good idea to head home.
After resting a little and eating some yummy pizza, it was time to go in the pool and try out Markus' new swimmies! He was so happy!!
Joli is such a little fish this summer!
Such a fun day!!!
