On Friday, Kacie's mom's best friend invited us over for lunch and a pool party. They had a wonderful pool and we all had such a blast!! Markus finally figured out how to swim with water wings and was all over the pool! He was so proud of himself!
Our host had some delicious food, including a bowl a fresh cherries. Joli must have inherited her love for cherries from her daddy, because she almost ate the entire bowl!!
Jerry made us some delicious hot dogs and burgers to compliment Colette's salads, and the kids just loved chatting with him!
We all spent about four hours in the pool, even the adults!! We had such a great time swimming and playing, and weren't really ready to leave until Markus went in the pool without his wings and scared me half to death! He was just as scared as I was, and didn't want to go back in. Plus they were all super tired, so we decided it was about time to pack up. Since we had to get up early to go to the train station, Pam let us all stay at her house again. The kids were a little more calm since it wasn't their first time there, and they were all so exhausted! They enjoyed one last evening of playing together before an early bedtime.
