Sunday was the last day of Faerieworlds and the one where the kids dressed the most naturally.
I had several compliments on my outfit, which I found humorous because it was just pieces of clothing that I wear regularly!
The kids had fun just relaxing and checking things out.
Joli's mermaid friend.
The children's play area.
Markus had a really hard with the fact that I wouldn't let him climb on top of the pirate ship that was already wobbling due to the child that should not have been on top of it. I mentioned to him so everyone around could hear, that it was not stable enough to hold a child, ESPECIALLY with other children underneath it, and then we went to find something else to do.
Like dig in the dirt!
Or listen to music!
Kesha's belly was just so freakin' adorable!! Matt did a great job!!
I asked Markus what souvenir he wanted to bring home, and he said "butterfly wings!". He was very specific in telling me that he wanted to be an orange butterfly and fly. Once we found them, he absolutely loved them, showed everyone he saw, and actually "flew" everywhere he went. :)
Markus was such a stinker about going into Matt and Kesha's tent and eating their food! He snuck a pop tart out and then brought it over to share with Matt.
For the last tea party we told the kids that we would squeeze them in somehow. They are lucky that they share a blood line with The Queen!
Matt got to have a cookie that actually tasted good this time, he was very happy!
Since it was the tea party everyone wanted to be a part of it, and it was absolutely PACKED!
It's exhausting being a Grammy's fairy prince.
Since I knew the kids were getting tired, and there was a band coming on that I wanted to hear, I decided to take our blanket up to the stage to find a seat. There happened to be a dragon puppet on stage when we got there and the kids were pretty happy about it!
It's was still pretty warm out, so I let the kids bring their umbrellas up to have some shade too. Joli decided to do a little dance number with hers.
Markus didn't last more than one song, before he passed out on the blanket.
Joli found some friends to run and play with while we waited for the next band to start, and Markus continued sleeping.
After about two hours, Markus woke up and we headed back to Neverworlds to get out of the sun and away from the loud music.
He, apparently, was still very tired, because we didn't last very much longer before saying our good byes.
Once more picture with me and my unicorn sister. Hehehehe!!
It was a very nice weekend, filled with wonderful friends, family, and conversation. It's going to be hard to wait another year!
