Day Three - "A Horse, a Train, and a Van"

Once we walked to the other side of the park, we hopped on a horse drawn carriage to take us back! Every since we saw them the day before, the kids had been asking to ride on one, but they only pick people up from one area, so that's where we went!
It was super cool, especially since there was a little shade!

Once we got to the other side we met Dave and his family and walked down to the lake! It was so fun!
Joli and Patty had a great time looking at the turtles and the fish!
Markus was so excited to see Dave and Noah he went nuts! Then took a break...

We needed to start heading back to get on the train so we all started walking towards the car. Markus wanted a ride and Noah was happy to oblige!

Joli thought it would be fun to get a ride too!! Good job Noah!

Joli dropped her hat a Dave put it on. Markus thought it was hilarious!! It was so nice to meet Hannah too!
Since Dave and the family had a car, they drove us to the train station! I just love seeing the city, and there was a cafe just for Joli!!

The station was under Madison Square Garden. It was so cool!!
After a quick goodbye we headed down to the train. The train ride was so beautiful! Upstate New York is quite a sight to see!
Joli and I looked out the window for awhile. Then she got bored, and I convinced her to trade seats with me so I could look!

It was pretty cool to ride through places I've only heard about in movies!

Markus was little tired but happy to listen to music with me (mostly the theme to Batman, played over, and over, and over...).

Then we finally made it!! We were so excited to see Kacie and the girls!!!

The kids were tired and excited and basically insane! Kacie's mom, Pam, lives not too far from the train station, and she was brave enough to have us all there for the weekend (although she may have regretted it the first evening, when Markus started throwing things off the balcony!)

Caroline is absolutely adorable. She and Markus are peas in a pod on the crazy train!

It was such a great day!
